The Food4Veterans Program is a special offering where Us4Warriors partners with the local Department of Veterans Affairs clinics. This is fulfillment of the Dept of VA's Food Empowerment program supported by VA Nutritionists and Social Workers to provide for those who have been identified with food insecurity issues. In simple terms, food insecurity refers to a lack of access to enough good, healthy, and culturally appropriate food. Each month, Us4Warriors delivers carefully selected bags of groceries specially chosen from dietary and nutritional lists provided by VA professionals. Veterans are identified by healthcare professionals as those with conditions that would be improved by helping to combat food insecurity. Each clinic has nutritionists or social workers that have taken on the duty of providing the bags as needed. Veterans receive these offerings through proper VA screening and channels only. Visit your local VA Clinic and ask about the "Food Empowerment Program".

The Us4Warriors Foundation is very proud to partner with the VA's Food Empowerment Program. It's a great partnership!!
