The Food4Warriors™ Program is a Military & Veteran Hunger Relief Program. Food4Warriors™ bundles several ongoing projects to serve all those in need within the military and veteran communities of San Diego County. From hosting food distributions to targeted deliveries and special events, Us4Warriors provides emergency food and basic needs assistance for eligible active duty, active duty dependents, veterans and their immediate families. Each month, the Us4Warriors Team travels to 1 of 8 locations throughout San Diego County with our Warrior Volunteer Force to provide groceries and assorted assistance items to thousands each year. Via our Food4Veterans™ project, Us4Warriors has established a local partnership with the Nutrition Department of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as exclusive agent to provide special sacks of hand-selected, approved groceries monthly for veterans who have been identified with food insecurity issues among all 8 of the local VA Clinics and VA Aspire Center. With our Feast4Warriors™ project, Us4Warriors hosts special events during the holidays and challenging times to support those in need as well, especially those struggling with large household sizes and special needs children. New for this year is our Food4Standdown™ which provides groceries to those in need during County Veteran Homeless Standdown events in San Diego and North County serving over 1,800 annually. In addition, efforts are underway to add a Pantry4Warriors™ as well to provide a consistent source of food inventory to better support the food programs and offer those eligible and in need with direct access to food and basic needs assistance.
