Us4Warriors Partners with Dept. of Veterans Affairs for Food Empowerment

The Us4Warriors™ Team embarked upon a new food empowerment program in partnership with San Diego Food Bank and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Stemming from a successful Food4Warriors™ program, a partnering activity is engaged that brings sacks of groceries to outlying VA Clinics throughout San Diego to be provided by VA Nutritionists and Social Workers to Veterans who have been identified with food insecurity issues. All food is carefully matched to nutritionist specifications and delivered by Us4Warriors™ to the clinics.
