Food4Warriors Program Assistant Melissa Gregg is VA's Veteran of the Day

On July 13th, Food4Warriors Program Assistant Melissa Gregg was selected as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs "Veteran of the Day." Serving in the United States Navy for 20 years as a Hospital Corpsman. Her service took her to many corners of the world, deploying on missions and humanitarian aid operations with efforts in countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Iraq, Guam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Jordan, Brazil, Peru and Chile. Melissa's efforts provided preventive medical support, public health education, safety inspections, and administrative support that benefited thousand of forward operating Navy Sailors and Marines.
