Joining Forces with VA Clinic Chula Vista in Support of those deployed

On October 16th, Us4Warriors™ joined forces with The Department of Veterans Affairs Clinic in Chula Vista in support of those deployed. During the months of September and October, Clinic employees and Us4Warriors volunteers collected items to be forwarded to those deployed in the United States Armed Forces in recognition of their service and the upcoming National Day of the Deployed. October 26 is annually designated as National Day of the Deployed honoring all of the brave men and woman who have been deployed, are sacrificing, or have sacrificed their lives to defend our country. The VA Clinic in Chula Vista is one of many that Us4Warriors™ supports through our Food4Veterans program with a partnership in which we work closely with VA Nutritionists and Social Workers to support Veterans identified with food insecurities. Each month, Us4Warriors provides bags of hand selected, healthy food and basic needs items that are given to those Veterans by the partnering clinics. Through Us4Warriors™ Food4Veterans Program, we support VA Food Empowerment efforts year around.
