On Sunday, September 25th, the Us4Warriors Team traveled to San Diego's Liberty Station to participate in Day #3 of the Force-Con 2022 weekend festivities. Force-Con 2022, a three-day military convention and art festival, was hosted on the weekend of September 23rd - 25th.
On Day 3, the festivities included an interactive community art project to Remember Our Fallen to benefit Honor Flight San Diego. Also, several veteran artists and authors were present with showings of their works.
Several "Meet the Heroes" showcases, including the ability for attendees to meet the impressive characters highlighted in the Purple Foxes United story. Many of the featured service members were Honor Flight San Diego alumni veterans. Keynote speaker was "Battle of the Bulge" veteran Vincent J. Speranza as well as Holocaust survivor and talented artisan Tibor Spitz to follow.
Throughout the day, the event showcased an art festival displaying the most unique creations by award-winning artists, authors and filmmakers from around the world.
Us4Warriors hosted an information booth and supported the event in many ways with members of our Warrior Volunteer Force on hand to participate with activities, including the community hosting of the large U.S. flag.
Us4Warriors is grateful to be chosen to participate and support this inaugural event that uplifted the community and set the stage for recognizing the selfless service of so many of nation's heroes.
