MILITARY & VETERANS HUNGER RELIEF

The Food4Warriors Program bundles several ongoing projects to serve those in need within the military and veterans communities of San Diego County. From hosting food distributions to targeted deliveries and special events, Us4Warriors provides emergency food and basic needs assistance for active duty military, veterans and their families.

In 2022, Us4Warriors CEO gave testimony regarding Veterans Hunger to the U.S. Congressional Committee on Veterans Affairs, Sub-Committee on Economic Opportunity outlining the current challenges faced by military and veterans and their families regarding food insecurity. In 2020, Us4Warriors was mentioned in the U.S. Congressional Sub-Committee on Veterans Hunger as an organization making a difference. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our Food4Warriors became a dedicated source for support of thousands in need. Since 2016, this program has continued to grow and serve many.

Our Food4Warriors Program is a bundle of several ongoing food related projects. As of 2023, these are the projects being maintained:

Food4Warriors (Monthly "Food Drop" Distributions Throughout the County)
Fresh4Warriors (Monthly "Mobile Pantry" Special Produce Distributions Throughout South San Diego County)
Pantry4Warriors (Emergency service offering pre-packed groceries for pick-up)
Food4Veterans (Exclusive Partnership with U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs "Food Empowerment Program")
Care4Warriors (Specially packed food and basic needs support for collaborative events that assist homeless veterans)
Feast4Warriors (Efforts supporting holiday events several times a year)

Our services are funded to support military, veterans, their families and vetted caregivers of veterans during temporary times of need. Although there are no income or asset restrictions for these programs, it is important to verify service affiliation in order to receive services. When signing up, refer to the instructions provided.

Please be advised that we are unable to provide monetary support. However, we have many options for military, veterans and their families in need to gain food support. See the options below for more information.
