Golf4Warriors: One of the first & safest during the pandemic

Updated: May 21

During 2020, one of the key events and major sources of fundraising for Us4Warriors was canceled due to the recent pandemic. A year later, Golf4Warriors, was able to take place and became the first golf tournament held at The Crossings at Carlsbad since the pandemic. To meet all the necessary protocols and ensure a memorable time was held by all involved, the event was limited to half capacity and called for stringent safety requirements. From implementing tamper proof event materials, providing a surplus of Golf4Warriors facemasks, planned social distancing methods, sanitizing high contact areas, temperature checks, to other safety protocols associated with "safe play," the Us4Warriors Team worked closely with the outstanding team at The Crossings at Carlsbad to ensure an event was able to take place and enjoyed by all who was on hand. With the amazing support of the limited number of dedicated Warrior Volunteer Force members that were able to be on-hand to observe social distancing, another Golf4Warriors is in the books and the Battle Bogey has passed.

A Big Salute goes to the Golf Team from SNS Concrete for being the winner this year of the Manny Otero Memorial Cup! Thank you to our fantastic sponsors at Kaiser Permanente, Cubic, Frontier Technology, Inc., Advance Plastics, Brainfuse, RemotelyMe and many more, another Battle Bogey is in the books! Look for upcoming information on Golf4Warriors: Battle Bogey Tournament 2022 later this year.
