In Honor of Flag Day, Legacy Partners Join Forces to Support San Diego County Flag Retirement Effort

In honor of U.S. Flag Day, Us4Warriors™ and The American Legion continue their Legacy Partnership to forge "San Diego Flag Partnership" Program with County of San Diego, Boy Scouts of America, and Public Libraries throughout San Diego County to support official retirements of worn flags no longer able to serve our nation. The Program, spearheaded by County Board Supervisor Greg Cox, San Diego City Councilmember Chris Cate, begins July 5, 2019, when all libraries throughout the San Diego region will display a flag disposal box. These boxes will allow for residents to properly dispose of U.S. flags.
