On Friday, November 12th, Us4Warriors presented our Veteran Vanguard Star Award to Navy Veteran Joshua Prado for his shared work and vision of helping military, veterans, and families transition and excel in careers beyond their service in the Armed Forces. Our Veteran Vanguard Star Award is given each year to veterans within our community who are making a difference. Each award recipient is also nominated for the coveted County of San Diego Veteran of the Year award. The award was presented by our Board of Directors President, Danny Carreon with several board members and Work4Warriors Program Team members in attendance. Prado was selected to receive the award for his magnificent work in seeking to help veterans and active-duty military with their transition into civilian life with programs like Barracks 2 Boardrooms, the VETD Talent Network, and Veterans Employment Commission of San Diego. ”Thank you, Us4Warriors for the immense honor and partnership in helping warriors transition,” Josh shared. As the award recipient, Josh will be the Us4Warriors nominee San Diego County Veteran of the Year Award to be selected in December 2021. We all wish Josh good luck and to keep up the excellent job! We are truly fans of his work.
