Us4Warriors Spotlighted in American Legion Publication

Us4Warriors Foundation was recently featured in the American Legion District 22 Legionnaire quarterly publication. The article highlights the origins of Us4Warriors within American Legion posts in San Diego County and the ongoing partnership between the organizations. Us4Warriors was founded in 2013 by Legionnaires dedicated to serving veterans in need. Over the past decade, it has expanded to help over 50,000 veterans and families nationwide (at time of this article, our numbers have surpassed 58,000 supported).

Despite this growth, Us4Warriors remains deeply connected to its American Legion roots. Legion posts and members throughout San Diego have been crucial in supporting the charity's mission. This "legacy partnership," as the article describes it, has been instrumental to Us4Warriors' success.

"We are thankful for the continued support from our American Legion partners," said Tony Stewart, CEO of Us4Warriors. "The American Legion commitment to our nation's veterans catalyzed this organization. Thanks to the hard work of so many legionnaires over the years, we've been able to make a difference for tens of thousands of heroes and families. We look forward to strengthening this bond in the years ahead."

The American Legion article highlights several joint initiatives between Us4Warriors and Legion posts. It also traces the charity's origins to Legionnaires determined to improve care for modern veterans. This article, drafted by Stewart at the request of local American Legion leaders, allowed Stewart, a former American Legion District Commander as well as CEO of Us4Warriors, to reflect on the strong birth of the organization from many legionnaire helping hands to a strong legacy partnership on to the service that continues today.

This coverage reinforces the synergistic relationship between Us4Warriors and the American Legion. Both organizations share a dedication to supporting those who have served. Their combined efforts have expanded support for veterans nationwide.
