Updated: Dec 17, 2021

On December 11th at an event held at the Chula Vista Elite Athletic Training Center, the Warrior Volunteer Force Volunteers of the Year for 2021 were announced and presented with certificates, gifts and assorted holiday items in recognition for their hard work during the year. Luis Borja, MA1, U.S. Navy was selected in the Active Duty Military category. Nhi Nguyen, a Navy Spouse, was selected in the Community Supporter category. Art Haeussler, U.S. Navy Veteran was selected in the Veteran category. Program Manager, Michael Veron, made the announcement and shared deep appreciation for the efforts of all the volunteers. Among the team, we know that the selection of this recognition is a little bit of a challenge as there are so many members of the Warrior Volunteer Force who work hard to support the cause throughout the year. We appreciate the support of all volunteers and know that their time and effort is valuable. Because of each and every volunteer, thousands of warriors and families get the support they need and are able to live stronger lives.
