On May 1st, our Warrior Volunteer Force supported a military "Honor Flight" carrying 85 World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans on a recent flight from San Diego International Airport to Washington, DC for a weekend trip to visit memorials, such as Arlington National Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the U.S. Air Force Memorial, the National World War II Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial and other historic sites.
Over 30 Warrior Volunteer Force volunteers comprised of military, veterans and community supporters greeted and assisted the veterans and their families at the airport terminal and assisting them with luggage and personal transport to the terminal boarding orientation. Us4Warriors appreciates the work of our partners, Honor Flight San Diego, the nationwide Honor Flight Network, and the many who have supported the mission. We Salute the men and women who served our nation and thank them for their sacrifice. We appreciate the opportunity to support this great mission to help them visit and reflect at Memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice.
