On Monday, July 11th, Us4Warriors CEO/Co-founder Anthony "Tony" Stewart testified in front of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity at a hearing in Oceanside, CA on "Ending Veteran Hunger: Examining the Impact of COVID-19 on Food Insecurity." We thank our CEO for representing Us4Warriors, the military and veterans community, and ensuring that collaborating partners in the San Diego County area were recognized as helping in the fight. From the American Legion (District 22), Veterans of Foreign Wars (District 1), San Diego Veterans Coalition, the local San Diego VA Healthcare Food Empowerment Team and many more who banded together during the pandemic and collaborate each day to help their "rising tide lift the community," all are key to helping those in need live stronger lives. We thank the House Committee and all hearing witnesses for their support to this worthy cause.
We also thank collaborative organizations like North County Veterans Stand Down, San Diego Veterans Stand Down, Feeding San Diego, San Diego Food Bank and others.
We appreciate the support of local churches like the wards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Calvary Chapel, Hilltop Tabernacle, and South Bay Christian Alliance who support our efforts.
It truly takes a steady course forward with a fleet of compassionate, caring partners to push efforts to help others. We thank our partners for being in the arena to help work against Veterans hunger.
Help us keep fighting Veteran's Hunger!
