Stemming from testimony provided to House Committee on Veterans Affairs on July 11th, American Legion's Department of California shares information with members state-wide regarding the issue of food insecurity among veterans and their families and the work of Us4Warriors and Legionnaire (our CEO) Anthony "Tony" Stewart as he testified before the committee to reinforce the problem across the country and the challenges faced by veterans and to recognize organizations in the fight against hunger, like our legacy partner, The American Legion (local San Diego Area District 22) and others.
