On May 5th, Chris Usita of UEI College completed 250 hours of externship training, projects, and duties assisting our Food4Warriors Program to help warriors and their families live for a stronger life through the pursuit of fighting military and veteran hunger.
During his time, Chris, a retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, supported many activities to assist food program managers in order to help military, veterans and their families on a path towards a quality of life beyond food insecurity. While in support of Food4Warriors, he gained key business management skills while working with Us4Warriors staff and management.
The Us4Warriors partnership with UEI College continues forward in support of veterans and those wishing to use their skills and education to support veterans through their variety of short-term career training programs to choose from in healthcare, trades and other specialties that can be completed in as few as 10 months. With a diversity of training programs, there are career opportunities for every type of personality and skillset. In addition, you may qualify for an exclusive externship as well by working with their Career Services Specialists. For more information about their programs, visit their website at UEI College - Vocational, Trade, and Career Training Programs.
