Force-Con 2022, a three-day military convention and art festival, was hosted on the weekend of September 23rd - 25th. On Friday, September 23rd, the weekend kicked off with a Red Carpet Gala Celebrating 100 years of Naval Carriers and Honoring Legends of Aviation at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park.
Us4Warriors very own CEO Tony Stewart and Actor/Writer/Filmmaker Tommy Anderson hosted the red carpet via the 4Warriors Network along with event founder and organizer, CJ Machado. Us4Warriors Advisory Board members, Actor/Comedian Will "Will C" Clifton and Filmmaker Mark Vizcarra were on-hand for the event. Will C providing laughs and auction services. Vizcarra providing several key films to commemorate the event.
Some of those in attendance where 101-year-old WWII Army Paratrooper Tom Rice, WWII U.S. Army Paratrooper Vincent J. Speranza, Legends of Aviation Capt. E. Royce Williams, Cmdr. Glenn Tierney, Lt. Willie Sharp, WWII POW Tom Crosby, Vietnam War POW Bill Arcuri and prior service members of the U.S. Army Golden Knights.
County of San Diego Board Supervisor Joel Anderson made several presentations to these heroes of service and let all veterans know that they are appreciated in San Diego County and that events such as this are important and must be supported.
